Hi, I'm Zhelly!I'm a freelance illustrator who's deeply inspired by love, color, and texture. I use bold color and varied brushstrokes to convey emotion, romance, and expressive characters. Watercolor is my favorite traditional medium and it inspires my digital process as well.To add variety to my paintings I also love drawing little characters, either on their own or in group scenes, and I often combine these pop spot illustrations with my love of sewing, turning my art into squishy little pillows.I have a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from the Savannah College of Art and Design where I graduated alongside my now-spouse Tobie. After graduation we dove head first into selling our art at conventions and online full time. For many years we have travelled the country together promoting our work in countless artist alleys.I'm interested in taking on more freelance and remote opportunities to push the boundaries of my art and expression!
